HIKING
There are several access points within a short drive to The Bruce's Trail. The historic Laura Secord Trail is a 32km trail that is easily accessed at the historic Morningstar Mill. There are kilometres of trails located in The Shorthills Conservation area and The St. John's Conversation area.

BIKING
The Welland Canal bike route extends from St. Catharines to Port Colborne to Niagara-on-the-Lake and back to St. Catharines. This route can be accessed within a 10 minute drive to the Allenburg bridge. There are kilometres of mountain biking in The Shorthills Conservation Area.

ANTIQUE SHOPPING
You never know what treasure you might find in one of the many antique stores in town.

RESTAURANTS
There are many restaurants within walking distance of the Inn. The Root and Bone restaurant is right next door to the Inn and has a menu that boasts an exciting range of flavours. The Kame & Kettle Beer Works is a popular craft brewery that has a full kitchen and across the street is the Banker and Butcher that offers Pub Fare. The Pelham Street Grill is fantastic for a full breakfast when you dont feel like cooking at the Inn. 

WINERIES
Niagara is well known for its dozens of wineries. Many of the wineries offer wine tours and upscale dining areas with an emphasis on local and seasonal ingredients. Touring the wineries is a wonderful way to explore the beautiful Niagara countryside.

GOLFING
There are more than thirty golf courses within a thirty minute drive of the Inn. Peninsula Lakes Golf Course is a four and a half star Golf Digest Facility, Whirlpool Golf Course is part of Niagara Parks and is an enduring classic set along Niagara's Great Gorge. Legends On The Niagara Golf Course offers forty five holes of championship golf and Thundering Waters Golf Club is a John Daly signature course. Just to name a few.

OUTLET SHOPPING
The Outlet Collection at Niagara offers over one hundred outlet brands. The Canada One Outlet offers over fifty outlet stores. Both outlet malls are within a twenty minute drive of the Inn.

SITE SEEING
Watch the "Lakers" glide through the Welland Canal.  Visit the famous Falls in Niagara or smaller falls at the Morningstar Mill, The Shorthills Park or the beautiful Balls Falls Conservation area. Visit the "Comfort Maple" which at 530 years of age is believed to be the oldest Sugar Maple tree in Canada. Try pancakes with local maple syrup at White Meadows Farm. Visit Jordan during the Ice Wine Festival, St. Catharines during the Grape and Wine celebrations, Howells Family Pumpkin Farm in the fall, join a Ghost Tour at Old  Fort George or take a horse and buggy ride around the historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Drive through the "The Shorthills" during the splendour of the fall colours with your camera close by. In the spring drive the country roads past old orchards covered in blooms of pink and white. Stop, take a picture and enjoy the fragrance lingering in the country air. Visit The Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens, Butterfly Conservatory and many picnic areas. So much to do....
